You know how stressful packing for a trip can be. I remember one year when I was in California and I assumed that it would be hot the whole time I was there. Well, for those who don’t know it can get quite cold in LA during the fall and winter, particularly at night. I don’t want to pack my winter jacket, nor do I want to travel with it because I hate holding onto heavy coats while I travel. I normally layer clothing or travel with a light jacket or sweater. Sometimes, I end up going to the store to purchase something to keep me warm if I didn’t pack anything warm enough. I am super excited about Roots Canada’s newest jacket the Zip Down Packable Jacket! It’s the perfect travel coat and works perfectly during fall and winter weather transitions. It’s definitely a great coat to bring with you just in case it gets cold but you want to pack light. It comes in a few colors and styles (long or short) and it’s also available for men as well. I went with black since it goes with everything! I have been wearing it every day lately and it keeps me warm while I walk to my boxing classes.
Notable Details: Traceable Down Duvet – 90% Duck Down, 10% Feather, 700 Fill Power, Durable Reinforced Ripstop Shell, and Durable Water Repellent Coating.
If you’re like me, then you will have no idea how to get your coat into the little packable bag that’s attached to the jacket. It took me a week to figure it out! Here is a quick how-to step by step guide:
