Men’s Day To Night Sneakers

It’s finally time to get your shoe game on point because it’s spring…soon summer! The winter is about style but it’s also about durability and practicality. As stylish as you would like to be, the snow and salt stains have something else in mind, particularly for those who prefer sneakers all day every day.

When I think of men’s style I think about versatility. I think about what else can he wear with this. I am sure you are thinking the same thing as well. Life happens during the day and the night, therefore, your clothing should accommodate every hour of the day.  If you are going to do athleisure, you might as well do it well. Honestly, it’s not an excuse to look sloppy. No excuse, there are so many great sneaker brands that offer a clean and polished look that can be dressed up or dressed down. You will remember I featured VANS, and the versatility a skate sneaker, one of my favourites on men, can have if you pick the right style, cut and material. You can’t go wrong with a well-made tennis or skateboard style sneaker…well you can go wrong I have seen many of you go oh so wrong. When it comes to both styles they offer a silhouette with clean lines and no bulk. This is what you should look for when you are looking for the day to night transition sneakers.

They should be so versatile that when paired with a suit or a pair of dress pants it’s seamless. They shouldn’t stand out because they look out of place but because they look good and work well with what you are wearing. You will notice below, that I showcased shoes that have soles that match the shoe. I prefer a sole that matches the color of the shoe, particularly if you are going for a dressier polished look.

These beautiful Italian handmade Buscemi white pebbled calfskin sneakers are pure perfection. The piped seams and gold-plated buckle are a nice touch of detail.

 

 

COMMON PROJECTS 

 

This minimalist style sneaker is a must have. Common projects are a high-quality luxe sneaker that complements your day to night looks seamlessly. The rubber sole provides that extra durability needed for continuous wear. I prefer soles that match the upper leather detailing over a white sole on black sneakers. This is Common Projects most popular style. You will notice that the only major detailing is the gold serial number located on the heel. Made in Italy.

 

AQUATALIA 

Aquatalia’s genuine suede lace-up chukka sneakers offer a fresh look to traditional sneakers. They’re the best of both worlds. What you love about a chukka boot (desert boot) and sneaker in one shoe.

 

VINCE

These are a simple suede leather lined sneakers by Vince. A gray sneaker is very versatile and it’s the subtle touch of colour when you’re wearing all black that makes a difference. These would look great with a fitted pair of black trousers. They also work well with jeans or khaki pants.
