If you could walk a mile in their shoes, what would you learn? What would you see? Would you rise to the occasion with the same adversities and setbacks they have experienced? The truth is, we will never live someone else’s life or truly comprehend the magnitude of weight their experiences have had on them. But what we can do is learn from them. The CEOs, millionaires, and experts. People who seem to have it all, the perfect life. How did they get there? Was it luck, chance, or hard work? Are they living the dream life, or is it an illusion? I wanted to share with you a few podcasts that I listen to. These podcasts feature experts in their field, CEOs, entrepreneurs, and millionaires. People who, through sheer determination, fearlessness, and ingenuity, have been able to reach the pinnacle of success. People who figured out how to cut through the noise and lead a life on their terms.

The Things I Wish I Knew is all about life lessons. With that said, I don’t believe your past is an anchor, although, for many people, it is. I understand your pain, the mental turmoil that comes with regret, and life lessons. Even when there is a silver lining and today is a lot better than days past, the past can haunt you if you let it. But you must move forward, forge ahead. This is one commonality you will notice when listening to the podcasts I feature below. You mustn’t allow turbulent times in life to be the reason why you gave up or why you haven’t made the changes needed to succeed. I also want you to know, and I understand this quite well, not everyone wants to be a CEO or a millionaire. The mastery of life is about being the master, the conductor of your own journey, however, that looks like. What you can learn from these individuals is that you are responsible for the things you do not try and the things you choose not to do. Do not allow other people or circumstances to become your excuse for not being the best version of yourself – the best mother, father, friend, teacher, or innovator.

The Diary Of A CEO by Steven Barlett

I listen to this podcast at least twice a week! It is my go-to podcast while I work out and during the day while I am working. If you are friends with me, you have heard me talk about this podcast or an episode that I am listening to. Don’t walk, run, and press play. You will not be disappointed. One of the things you will notice about the host, Steven Bartlett, is his desire to learn from his guests. This allows him to ask insightful questions and gives space for the person he is speaking with to engage in an introspective way.

Tom Bilyeu

I have actually discovered other experts who have podcasts or YouTube channels from listening to them on the Tom Bilyeu podcast. The podcast I have featured below is with Dr. Andrew Huberman. His YouTube channel is on my playlist as well. He offers a lot of great information. This is a must-watch or listen podcast.

Jordan B. Peterson

A controversial and polarizing individual to some, but the truth is that Jordan B. Peterson is a highly compelling speaker of our time. He also taught at the university I attended. I honestly wish I had taken a class he taught. His podcast delves into various topics and world issues. But one area that stands out to me is his desire to help people take accountability for their lives. He is passionate, vulnerable, and insightful. He is as nuanced as all of us, so I feel it’s worth a listen. What I mean by that is that he is sharing the complexities of the human experience. The difference is that he isn’t hiding behind an elusive veil. He does what many people wish they could do. That is, to think freely, question everything, and also love deeply with a courageous heart. While doing all of this within limits that make one uncomfortable, but where reason and faith enter a synchronized dalliance. And while you may find yourself unnerved, which some have, Peterson will push you towards questioning your own beliefs, why you hold them to be true, and how this determines your current reality.
